A unique wedding requires a truly dramatic setting and we’re in the business of realising dreams and making memories. Where better than UVB to give your special celebration the magic it deserves?

A wedding at UVB gives you and your guests a unique experience. We offer a dynamic and hugely creative environment with lots of interesting spaces to hold a civil ceremony, wedding breakfast, reception, and other celebrations. 

We host a few select weddings each year so each one is given our undivided love and attention.

Our wedding package includes:

  • Hire of the Shakespeare Memorial Room and Skyline
  • Speakers and access to a premium Spotify account for music
  • A private room for a pre-wedding interview
  • Access to the Discovery Terrace, Secret Garden and Book Rotunda balconies for photo opportunities (subject to availability).

Shakespeare Memorial Room - Unique Venues Birmingham

Shakespeare Memorial Room

Licenced for civil ceremonies, seating up to 36 guests for a ceremony, 60 guests for a drinks reception, or 20 guests for a wedding breakfast. This room is small and intimate for those special moments.

The Terrace has a built-in bar and can accommodate up to 300 guests for drinks receptions, rooftop parties and summer BBQs.

"The venue itself creates a dramatic effect, whilst being connected to The Library of Birmingham and situated in front of a Centenary Square. It has a truly colourful and vibrant atmosphere inside and we really enjoyed having our ceremony and reception there, as it offered something unique and different to most other venues."
